Magic and technology coexist together, as technology is powered by magic. Technological enhancement has provided radios, television, cellphones, and much more. However, most technology is reserved for those in the upper castes. It is legal for lower castes to own technological devices, but most are technologically illiterate.

Weaponry

Every person, especially those of the lower classes, carries a knife to aid in their day and protect themselves from danger. Some people might prefer swords, while others prefer using magic. Particularly powerful people may not feel the need to carry weapons because of their reliance on magic.

Alesseian knights are generally trained in the art of sword-fighting, although the style differs per region. Soren knights tend to use thin blades called rapiers. Atlanteans, meanwhile, prefer using long-ranged weapons such as magically enhanced spears and crossbows in addition to swords.

Each ruler of every region owns a scepter. The scepter is an extremely powerful conduit of magic, the most powerful of them all being the Alesseian Scepter. However, the Alesseian Scepter is rumored to have been destroyed at the end of the Cepheus Era.
